The Tack Room Remodel

Hello All! It has been a while, but we have been a little busy on the farm.

Our latest accomplishment was out Tack Room Remodel! I was very excited about this project. My husband and I just bought our first house in June, so this is our first real remodel. For all of those wondering, yes, it is possible to have farm animals and rent, we did it for years. However, it can be a pain in the butt sometimes, but more on that later.

So we had to do this remodel on a budget.

First things first, how to hold up the tack.

We had a variety of hangers that we chose.

I got a 3 saddle tree from Tractor Supply, keep an eye out because usually they will go on sale at some point during the year. Try early spring or winter when people aren't riding as much.

Then, I got some halter holders from StateLine Tack. Things to be aware of, the solid holders from there are decent. I paid $2.50 per holder, half of what they are on Amazon. That being said anything with detachable parts can be poorly made.

For example, I also got 2 wall-mounted blanket holders, and the holes didn't line up, so we had to punch them.

The big thing is to try to use the space the best you can.
