Rustic Sign DIY
At the markets, we like to have signs on our tables advertising what we have and who we are. I love the look of old rustic signs and the blackboards.
I'll give you a hint though, you don't need chalkboard paint for a chalkboard.
I had been purchasing chalkboard paint (quite expensive I might add), to be able to make a changeable sign. However, I discovered that chalk works just as well on wood.
The wood needs to be mostly smooth, either sanded or naturally smooth. The chalk marks beautifully on the wood. And the best part, if you mess up it is erasable!
