New Puppy on the Farm
So, we have a new puppy on he farm. Tuesday evening, a woman came and knocked on the door. Apparently, they found a little hound puppy running the roads in Bernardo. They remembered us from this summer when we went looking for Chester and wanted to see if we would be interested in taking him.
So, we took him in.
On Wednesday I took him to work for a vet check, vaccines, de-worming and a bath. He was not too happy, but at least he got an overall good bill of health. His jaw is offset, so his tongue sticks out a little, hard to tell if it is due to genetics or an injury. He was wormy, so the wormer will fix that. He weighs 24 lbs and we think he is 4-5 months old.
He loves Oppenheimer, and he has not figured out the horses and cat yet, he is pretty sure they are trying to eat him.
It does seem like he will leave the chickens alone, at least for now. He isn't showing much interest in them, but we will see when he gets older.
