Horsemanship Expo

Saturday was a fun day. There was a free horsemanship clinic at the Socorro Area. It was put on by UNM and 4-H. It was pretty fun. In there morning, was riding lessons, followed by a presentation from the Back country horseman group, with free lunch. Then in the afternoon, the large animal rescue group presented and did a small training and then a final riding lesson.

There was mainly kids at the expo, but it was open to all ages. I was wanting to go mainly to get Nobel experience in new environments. It was great to get some new perspectives and get some new things to work on.

I did get bucked off, but nothing was injured and I was able to get right back on! Made a lot of improvements and even got a bucket of goodies as an award for perseverance.

Hopefully this was a good step in the right direction for Nobel and it will only be downhill from here!
