Duck Lot #2 - Projects, Projects, Projects
We have a new duck lot. Hooray!
You have probably seen my post about the other ducks that we got, 7 Indian runners and 11 pekin babies. Well, they have finished their quarantine period and so now they are free to spread their wings, so to speak.
We wanted a new lot that way we could have 2 separate duck groupings so we can have multiple breeding pairs. We decided to use our trusty favorite, pallets.
They work wonderfully!
We used them first for our rabbit lot and now we are doing them for this lot. The only materials we needed was more chicken wire (We tend to go ahead and buy in bulk, its cheaper over the long run to get the 150' roll for $45 instead of the 12' roll for $10) and more wood staples. We had some long stud wood that we were able to collect from another set of long pallets to use for the uprights and scrap wood for the joiners.
