Today was the day, we started getting the new garden bed set up for the spring planting.
We have been composting all year and I am eager to report that we have some beautiful dirt! I am very anxious to get planting in it!
Ideally, we would have let it rest in the compost pile another month or so, but I really needed to start a new pile.
We had about 2 truck bed loads of passive compost. This was enough to fill the new section.
I promise, I helped shovel too.
You can see the corner of one of the broody boxes on the old garden bed. I have Fredrick the rabbit in there to help add to the top layer on the old garden bed.
So excited for spring!
