Herb Starting
We are starting to get prepared for the spring garden. The herbs did so well last year that we are going to expand the herb garden. I have started seeds indoors and will continue to start more over the next few weeks. Luckily, Kyle's hanging pot holders have really helped with window space.
The benefit to starting the seeds vs. buying the plants is you can get several more plants for the money. Also, you can sell the extra plant starts at the farmer's market.
Last year, we did 2 types of mint, rosemary, oregano, lavender, parsley, and basil.
This year I am hoping to add garden sage, dill, thyme, lemon balm, and catnip.
